Oak Street Health is hiring a Contact Center Service Advocate I for a remote role. You will handle inbound and outbound calls to schedule, reschedule, and cancel appointments, while delivering courteous, patient-centered service.

The position requires a high school diploma, 1 year of customer service experience, and basic EMR familiarity. A friendly, reliable demeanor and strong multitasking are essential; Spanish or other languages are a plus.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; some undergraduate education preferred.
• 1 year of customer service experience; call center experience preferred.
• Friendly and nurturing attitude toward patients; ability to multitask.
• Experience with EMR documentation is preferred; proficient PC skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound and outbound calls to schedule, reschedule, and cancel appointments.
• Provide courteous, professional service and address patient inquiries.
• Accurately enter patient information and appointment details into the system.
• Communicate appointment details and instructions clearly to patients.
• Resolve scheduling conflicts promptly and collaborate with medical staff.
• Follow up to confirm appointments and provide reminders.
• Maintain accurate records of interactions and transactions.
• Other duties or special projects as assigned.
