Job summary

Signature Performance, Inc. seeks a Patient Financial Services Supervisor to lead daily revenue cycle operations, including billing, follow-up, denials, and cash posting. You will mentor teams, monitor performance metrics, and drive improvements in cash collections and patient account resolution.

Requirements include 4+ years in hospital PFS or revenue cycle and 1–2+ years of supervisory experience, with strong analytical and communication skills. Remote, nationwide role with travel 15-30%.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hospital Patient Financial Services or revenue cycle experience, including billing, AR, denials, collections, self-pay, cash posting, or related functions.
• 1-2+ years of demonstrated team lead, supervisory, or people leadership experience.
• Working knowledge of Hospital Billing (HB) and/or Professional Billing (PB), the patient account lifecycle, and payer processes.
• Demonstrated ability to manage workflow, productivity, quality, service levels, and employee performance.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills with the ability to operate effectively in a multi-hospital environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily PFS operations for billing, insurance follow-up, denials and appeals, self-pay, cash posting, payment reconciliation, and final account resolution.
• Manage work queues, AR inventories, aging, unresolved accounts, unapplied cash, credit balances, and other backlogs; align work assignments to volume, complexity, service levels, and staffing capacity.
• Monitor staffing capacity, workload, volumes, and service levels; rebalance resources and priorities to maintain operational performance.
• Ensure timely, accurate execution of standardized workflows, SOPs, payer requirements, financial policies, and account documentation standards.
