Job summary

Signature Performance, Inc. is seeking a Patient Financial Services Supervisor who will lead daily revenue cycle operations, focusing on billing, insurance follow-up, denials, and payments. You will mentor staff, monitor performance metrics, and drive improvements in cash collections and account resolution.

The role requires 4+ years in hospital PFS or revenue cycle and 1–2+ years in supervision, with strong analytical and communication skills. Remote work with national availability is offered.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hospital Patient Financial Services or revenue cycle experience.
• 1–2+ years of demonstrated team lead or people leadership experience.
• Working knowledge of Hospital Billing (HB) and PB, payer processes.
• Ability to manage workflow, productivity, quality, service levels, and staff performance.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
• Experience in a multi-hospital environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily PFS operations including billing, insurance follow-up, denials and appeals.
• Manage work queues, AR inventories, aging, unresolved accounts, and backlogs.
• Monitor staffing, workload, service levels, and rebalance resources.
• Ensure standardized workflows and payer requirements are followed.
• Identify barriers to reimbursement and drive resolution with stakeholders.
• Lead and develop PFS staff; conduct regular performance feedback.
• Support process improvements and cross-functional collaboration.
