Signature Performance, Inc. is seeking a Patient Financial Experience Representative for a remote, nationwide role. You will handle patient and guarantor communications, explain balances, and guide self-pay options with empathy and clarity.

You will collaborate with hospital partners, document interactions, resolve billing inquiries, and assist with financial assistance pathways while upholding HIPAA and privacy standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years in healthcare revenue cycle or patient financial services.
• Ability to explain complex financial information clearly.
• Experience with hospital Payer/EHR systems and terminology.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and consumer financial communications requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage inbound and outbound patient and guarantor calls regarding statements, insurance, balances, self-pay accounts, and billing concerns.
• Explain balances, insurance payments, patient responsibility, and next steps in clear patient-friendly language.
• Collect and securely process patient payments; offer approved payment arrangements and follow self-pay practices.
• Identify eligibility for financial assistance or charity care and refer or assist patients per policies.
• Research accounts in hospital systems; document interactions, dispositions, and follow-up.
• Deliver an exceptional patient experience with empathy, active listening, and de-escalation.
