Signature Performance, Inc. is seeking a Patient Financial Experience Representative for a remote role open nationwide.

You will handle patient and guarantor inquiries, explain balances, and facilitate payments with a focus on empathetic service and accuracy. Responsibilities include researching accounts in EHR, billing, and CRM systems, assisting with financial assistance options, and ensuring compliant, quality patient interactions across hospital partners.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years in healthcare revenue cycle, hospital patient financial services, or similar patient-facing role.
• Strong customer service, empathy, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to research accounts across multiple systems while maintaining confidentiality.
• Experience with hospital accounting, EHR, insurance terminology, and self-pay collections.
• Familiarity with financial assistance workflows and HIPAA requirements.
• Willingness to learn, coachable, and adaptable to evolving client needs.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound and outbound patient and guarantor calls regarding statements and balances.
• Explain balances and next steps in clear, patient-friendly language.
• Collect payments, offer approved payment plans, and ensure compliance.
• Identify eligibility for financial assistance and refer per policies.
• Research accounts in EHR, patient accounting, and CRM systems; document interactions.
• Escalate complex issues to appropriate teams and ensure timely follow-up.
• Deliver empathetic, respectful, and first-contact resolution when possible.
