Job summary

AnewHealth is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join the Patient Engagement team in a remote, closed-door pharmacy environment. You will handle inbound calls from patients, doctors, and facilities, resolving issues and ensuring accurate account information with strong confidentiality.

Primary duties include collecting balances, providing excellent service, and collaborating with pharmacists and other staff to ensure timely, compliant patient care across multiple systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (PTCB) or National Healthcare Association (NHA) certification.
• Active pharmacy technician registration with State Board of Pharmacy.

Responsibilities

• Handle high-volume inbound calls from current patients and resolve questions.
• Collect on patient balances when due.
• Provide exceptional customer service in a remote, phone-based pharmacy environment.
• Serve as liaison between clinical pharmacists and other medical professionals.
• Collaborate with technicians, pharmacists, and specialists to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Maintain patient records with confidentiality and attention to detail.
• Support periods of higher call volume as needed.
