Job summary

Lumicera Health Services is seeking a capable leader to guide a department within our remote team. You will manage daily workflows, coach staff, and ensure delivery of high-quality service in a managed care/pharmacy setting.

Responsibilities include resolving workflow barriers, overseeing transitions in volume, and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of our processing software. Remote work eligibility applies to a broad set of U.S. states.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; an Associate or Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• CPhT certification preferred.
• Two years’ experience in a managed care, specialty pharmacy, customer service, or PBM environment is required.
• Experience in a call center environment is preferred.
• Direct leadership or coaching/mentoring experience is preferred.
• Pharmacy claim/benefit experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and data privacy practices is preferred.
• Ability to participate in, adhere to and support compliance program objectives.
• Ability to interact cooperatively and respectfully with other employees.

Responsibilities

• Ensure daily workload standards are met by understanding current workflow/scheduling needs and plans.
• Identify and remove barriers that prevent goals from being achieved.
• Review client transitions and changes in volume; ensure scripting and resources are clear.
• Ensure information impacting staff is shared timely and in an appropriate way.
• Coach, motivate and develop staff to produce outstanding results.
• Provide day-to-day leadership/support of department staff and manage disciplinary process.
• Coordinate with hiring/temp agencies and act as escalation resource.
• Maintain knowledge of pharmacy processing software and related tools.
