Job summary

Lumicera Health Services is seeking a Supervisor, Patient Care to lead and support the Patient Care Assistant staff. You will disseminate information, monitor performance metrics, and implement changes to ensure superior service and adherence to client requirements.

Role includes daily leadership of staff, training development, qualification in pharmacy systems, and collaboration with agencies. Remote-friendly with occasional travel required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; further education preferred.
• 2 years' experience in a managed care, specialty pharmacy, customer service, or PBM environment.
• Direct leadership or coaching/mentoring experience preferred.
• Pharmacy Claim / benefit experience preferred.
• HIPAA and data privacy practices knowledge preferred.
• Participate in, adhere to, and support compliance program objectives.
• Ability to interact cooperatively and respectfully with others.

Responsibilities

• Ensure daily workload standards are met by understanding workflow and scheduling needs.
• Identify and remove barriers to achieve goals.
• Review client transitions and changes in volume; ensure scripting/resources are clear.
• Share information impacting staff in a timely manner.
• Confirm staff comprehension via feedback or observation.
• Provide day-to-day leadership/support of department staff.
• Help set and enforce quality metrics for staff.
• Conduct periodic quality monitoring of staff.
• Facilitate training and development needs for individuals and the department.
• Manage disciplinary processes per policies.
• Document and retain training, reviews, and feedback records.
• Coach and develop staff to achieve excellent results.
• Coordinate with hiring/temp agencies.
• Act as escalation resource for calls or issues.
• Triage service and technical issues to resolution; educate staff on causes/resolutions.
• Triage to pharmacist staff as appropriate.
• Keep resources current and clear through maintenance.
• Maintain knowledge of pharmacy processing software and Lumicera tools.
