Job summary

Navitus Health Solutions seeks a Patient Care Assistant to support specialty pharmacy programs. You will communicate with patients, prescribers, pharmacies, and payers to facilitate prescription fulfillment.

Responsibilities include handling inbound/outbound calls, gathering needed data, and ensuring accurate information while complying with healthcare regulations. A strong emphasis on empathy and professionalism is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-2 years of customer service experience preferred.
• Experience in a pharmacy or healthcare environment preferred.
• Participate in, adhere to, and support compliance program objectives.
• Ability to interact cooperatively and respectfully with others.

Responsibilities

• Answer inbound calls from patients, prescribers, or health professionals to support specialty pharmacy functions.
• Make outbound calls to patients to establish shipment criteria and ask scripted questions.
• Use operating systems and tools to manage patient therapy and refill compliance.
• Triage calls to a licensed health care associate when clinical intervention is needed.
• Adhere to all applicable laws and uphold high ethical standards.
• Other duties as assigned
