Navitus Health Solutions is seeking a Patient Care Assistant to join the team, focusing on supporting specialty pharmacy programs and patient care. You will communicate with patients, prescribers, pharmacists, and payers to assist in fulfillment and patient care of specialty medications.

The role emphasizes gathering accurate information for prescription fulfillment, data collection, and problem solving to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is strongly preferred.
• 1-2 years of customer service experience preferred.
• Experience in a pharmacy or healthcare environment preferred.
• Participate in, adhere to, and support compliance program objectives.
• Ability to interact cooperatively and respectfully with other employees.

Responsibilities

• Accept inbound calls from patients, prescribers, or other health professionals in support of the specialty pharmacy functions.
• Make outbound calls to patients to establish shipment criteria and ask scripted questions when applicable.
• Utilize operating systems and tools to help manage patient therapy and refill compliance.
• Assist in answering incoming phone calls and triage calls to a licensed health care associate when clinical intervention is needed.
• Adhere to all applicable federal and state laws and with the highest ethical standards; comply with legal and ethical requirements.
• Other duties as assigned.
