Job summary

Navitus Health Solutions is seeking a Patient Care Assistant to support specialty pharmacy programs and patient care. You will handle inbound and outbound calls with patients, prescribers, and payers to help fulfill medications and ensure patient support.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED strongly preferred.
• 1–2 years of customer service experience preferred.
• Experience in a pharmacy or healthcare environment preferred.
• Participate in compliance program objectives and adhere to standards.

Responsibilities

• Answer inbound calls from patients, prescribers, or health professionals to support specialty pharmacy functions.
• Make outbound calls to patients to establish shipment criteria and ask scripted questions when applicable.
• Utilize pharmacy systems and tools to manage patient therapy and refill compliance.
• Triages incoming calls to a licensed health care associate when clinical intervention is needed.
• Comply with applicable federal and state laws and ethical standards.
• Other duties as assigned.
