Job summary

Navitus Health Solutions is hiring a Patient Care Assistant to support specialty pharmacy programs and coordinate with patients, prescribers, and payers. The role focuses on clear, courteous communication and accurate data gathering to facilitate prescription fulfillment and patient care.

Primary duties include handling inbound/outbound calls, using pharmacy systems to track therapy and refill status, and triaging to licensed professionals when needed.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required or strongly preferred.
• 1–2 years customer service experience preferred.
• Experience in a pharmacy or healthcare environment preferred.
• Support compliance program objectives.
• Ability to interact cooperatively with coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Accept inbound calls from patients, prescribers, or other health professionals in support of specialty pharmacy functions.
• Make outbound calls to patients to establish shipment criteria and ask scripted questions.
• Utilize operating systems and tools to manage patient therapy and refill compliance.
• Assist in answering calls and triage to a licensed health care professional when clinical intervention is needed.
• Adhere to all applicable federal and state laws with the highest ethical standards.
• Other duties as assigned.
