The role emphasizes warm, professional calls, accurate data collection, and escalation to licensed staff when needed. The position supports pharmacy operations, ensuring adherence to laws and ethical standards while contributing to a collaborative healthcare team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 1–2 years of customer service experience preferred.
• Experience in a pharmacy or healthcare environment preferred.
• Ability to interact cooperatively and respectfully with others.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound calls from patients, prescribers, or other health professionals in support of specialty pharmacy functions.
• Make outbound calls to patients to establish shipment criteria and gather scripted information.
• Use operating systems and tools to manage patient therapy and refill compliance.
• Triage calls to a licensed health care associate when clinical intervention is needed.
• Comply with applicable federal and state laws and uphold high ethical standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
