Job summary

Navitus Health Solutions is seeking a Patient Care Assistant/Customer Service professional to support specialty pharmacy programs. Under supervision, you will communicate with patients, prescribers, pharmacists, and payers to aid in fulfillment and patient care of specialty medications.

You will handle inbound/outbound calls, collect information, and triage with licensed health care associates when intervention is needed, ensuring compliance with all laws and high ethical standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED strongly preferred.
• Minimum 1-2 years of customer service experience preferred.
• Experience in a pharmacy or healthcare environment preferred.
• Participate in, adhere to, and support compliance program objectives.
• The ability to consistently interact cooperatively and respectfully with other employees.

Responsibilities

• Accept inbound calls from patients, prescribers, or other health professionals in support of the specialty pharmacy functions.
• Make outbound calls to patients to establish shipment criteria and asking scripted questions when applicable.
• Utilize operating systems and tools to help manage patient therapy and refill compliance.
• Assist in answering incoming phone calls and triage calls to a licensed health care associate when clinical intervention is needed.
