Position is remote with work at residences or Travelers offices, with travel as needed. You will learn to review and investigate claims, gather evidence, and determine coverage, while communicating

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required; internship or work experience in customer service or insurance preferred.
• Willingness to obtain an active adjuster license where required by state law.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; willingness to learn claims management and estimating software.

Responsibilities

• Actively participate in structured training classes covering policies, claim processes, and systems.
• Review, investigate, and document 1st party property claims under supervision.
• Gather information from policyholders, claimants, witnesses, and third-party providers.
• Learn to investigate and evaluate facts to determine coverage for building damages per policy terms.
• Establish accurate scope of damages for building and contents losses for estimates.
• Provide timely, professional communication to customers, claimants, and internal stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate records of claim activity in claim systems.
• Demonstrate openness to continuous learning, including AI and digital tools.
• Adapt to new technology and system upgrades while maintaining productivity.
