Job summary

Pride-Health is seeking an experienced Certified Medical Coder with outpatient and ED coding expertise for a remote contract. The role requires strong knowledge of ICD-10 and hospital coding guidelines, with proficiency in EPIC and 3M/HDS.

Minimum 3 years of outpatient coding experience and CCS/RHIA/RHIT/CCP certifications are preferred. This 100% remote position offers an extendable contract and weekend availability on occasion.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of outpatient medical coding experience with ED coding exposure.
• Certifications CCS/RHIA/RHIT/CCP are preferred.
• Familiar with ICD-10 coding and hospital coding guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate outpatient and ED medical coding.
• Review and assign ICD-10, CPT-4, and related codes.
• Ensure compliance with payer, federal, and coding guidelines.
• Research and resolve coding-related issues using EPIC and 3M/HDS.
