Job summary

Pride-Health is actively hiring a Certified Medical Coder (Remote) for a 100% remote contract role. The candidate will perform outpatient and ED coding, review ICD-10 and CPT-4 codes, and ensure compliance with payer and federal guidelines.

Proficiency with EPIC and 3M/HDS is required, with 3+ years of outpatient coding experience and ED coding exposure. Schedule includes 8:00 AM-4:00 PM with one weekend per month.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of outpatient coding experience.
• Emergency department coding experience preferred.
• Proficiency in ICD-10 coding and acute care coding.
• Experience with EPIC and 3M/HDS systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate outpatient and ED medical coding.
• Review and assign ICD-10, CPT-4, and related codes.
• Ensure compliance with payer, federal, and coding guidelines.
• Research and resolve coding-related issues.
• Utilize EPIC and 3M/HDS coding applications effectively.
