Job summary

Pride-Health is actively hiring a Certified Medical Coder (Remote) – Outpnt & ED for a hospital client. Pay rate is $36-$38 per hour, with a scheduled 8:00 AM–4:00 PM and one weekend day required. 100% remote, extendable contract, outpatient and ED coding emphasis.

Candidates should have CCS/RHIA/RHIT or CCP, at least 3 years of outpatient coding experience, and strong ICD-10 knowledge, plus experience with EPIC and 3M/HDS systems.

Qualifications

• 3 years outpatient coding experience.
• ER coding experience is a plus.
• CCS or RHIA, RHIT, CCP certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform outpatient and ED medical coding.
• Review and assign ICD-10, CPT-4, and related codes.
• Ensure payer, federal, and coding guideline compliance.
• Research and resolve coding-related issues.
• Utilize EPIC and 3M/HDS coding applications effectively.
