Job summary

Pride-Health is actively hiring for a Certified Medical Coder (Remote) to support outpatient and ED coding from a remote location. The role requires 3+ years of outpatient coding experience, with CCS/RHIA/RHIT/CCP credentials preferred, and familiarity with EPIC and 3M/HDS systems. The position is a remote 100% assignment with a extendable contract and weekend coverage rotation.

Pay rate ranges from $36-$38 per hour. Schedule notes include 8:00 AM-4:00 PM with one weekend day required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of medical coding experience.
• CCS or RHIA, RHIT, CCP certification required.
• Strong knowledge of ICD-10 coding.
• Experience with EPIC and 3M/HDS systems.
• Acute care hospital coding experience.
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and disease processes.
• Proficiency in MS Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate outpatient, and ED medical coding.
• Review and assign ICD-10, CPT-4, and related codes.
• Ensure compliance with payer, federal, and coding guidelines.
• Research and resolve coding-related issues.
• Utilize EPIC and 3M/HDS coding applications effectively.
