Pride-Health seeks an experienced Certified Medical Coder for a remote contract focusing on outpatient and ED coding. Successful candidates will work remotely with a hospital setting and fulfill 3 years of outpatient coding experience.

The role requires CCS/RHIA/RHIT/CCP credentials and proficiency with ICD-10, EPIC, and 3M/HDS systems. Weekend coverage may be needed, and compensation aligns with market rates for remote contractors.

Formación

• Minimum 3 years of medical coding experience.
• Strong knowledge of ICD-10 coding.
• Experience with EPIC and 3M/HDS systems.
• Acute care hospital coding experience.
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and disease processes.

Responsabilidades

• Perform accurate outpatient, and ED medical coding.
• Review and assign ICD-10, CPT-4, and related codes.
• Ensure compliance with payer, federal, and coding guidelines.
• Research and resolve coding-related issues.
• Utilize EPIC and 3M/HDS coding applications effectively.
