Job summary

Pride-Health is seeking a Certified Medical Coder (Remote) to support outpatient and emergency department coding from a remote location. The role requires at least three years of outpatient coding experience, with ER coding exposure, and familiarity with ICD-10, CPT-4, EPIC, and 3M/HDS systems.

The position involves accurate coding, adherence to payer and coding guidelines, and problem-solving for coding-related issues while working a flexible remote schedule.

Qualifications

• 3 years of outpatient coding experience and ER coding experience is required.
• Strong knowledge of ICD-10 coding.
• Experience with EPIC and 3M/HDS systems.
• Acute care hospital coding experience.
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and disease processes.
• Proficiency in MS Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate outpatient and ED medical coding.
• Review and assign ICD-10, CPT-4, and related codes.
• Ensure compliance with payer, federal, and coding guidelines.
• Research and resolve coding-related issues.
• Utilize EPIC and 3M/HDS coding applications effectively.
