Job summary

Pride-Health is hiring a Certified Medical Coder (Remote) for outpatient and ED coding under a extendable contract. The role is fully remote, with a schedule that includes one weekend per month. Pay rate is $36-$38 per hour, with a focus on outpatient acute care coding in a hospital setting.

Requirements include CCS/RHIA/RHIT/CCP certification and at least 3 years of outpatient coding experience, plus proficiency with ICD-10 and EPIC/3M/HDS systems. High School Diploma or GED required.

Qualifications

• CCS/RHIA/RHIT/CCP certification required.
• Minimum 3 years outpatient/ED coding experience.
• Strong ICD-10 coding knowledge.
• Experience with EPIC and 3M/HDS systems.
• Acute care hospital coding experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate outpatient and ED medical coding.
• Review and assign ICD-10, CPT-4, and related codes.
• Ensure compliance with payer and coding guidelines.
• Research and resolve coding-related issues.
• Utilize EPIC and 3M/HDS coding applications.
