Job summary

Pride-Health is seeking a Certified Medical Coder (Remote) to support outpatient and emergency department coding for a hospital client. The role requires at least three years of outpatient coding experience and proficiency with ICD-10, CPT-4, EPIC, and 3M/HDS.

You will work 8:00 AM–4:00 PM with one weekend per month and a contract term that can be extended. This remote position offers comprehensive benefits and the chance to contribute to compliant coding practices.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of outpatient coding experience.
• Strong knowledge of ICD-10 coding.
• Experience with EPIC and 3M/HDS systems.
• Acute care hospital coding experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate outpatient, and ED medical coding.
• Review and assign ICD-10, CPT-4, and related codes.
• Ensure compliance with payer, federal, and coding guidelines.
• Research and resolve coding-related issues.
• Utilize EPIC and 3M/HDS coding applications effectively.
