Job summary

Pride-Health is actively hiring a Certified Medical Coder (Remote) for a remote contract with a hospital client. The role focuses on outpatient and ED coding with a pay rate of $36-$38/hour and requires weekend availability. Expect EPIC and 3M/HDS proficiency and a 3-year track record in acute care coding.

The position emphasizes compliance with payer and coding guidelines, ICD-10 mastery, and strong knowledge of anatomy. Remote work is 100% with an extendable contract and standard scheduling.

Qualifications

• CCS or RHIA, RHIT, CCP certification required.
• Minimum 3 years of medical coding experience.
• Strong knowledge of ICD-10 coding.
• Experience with EPIC and 3M/HDS systems.
• Acute care hospital coding experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate outpatient, and ED medical coding.
• Review and assign ICD-10, CPT-4, and related codes.
• Ensure compliance with payer, federal, and coding guidelines.
• Research and resolve coding-related issues.
• Utilize EPIC and 3M/HDS coding applications effectively.
