Signature Performance, Inc. is seeking an Outpatient Coding Auditor for a remote, nationwide role.

You will conduct quality reviews, identify documentation issues, and deliver educational feedback to coding staff while coordinating with department managers to uphold coding standards. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in professional medical coding, AHIMA/AAPC credentials, and strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM/PCS, CPT-4, HCPCS, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with major EHRs such

Qualifications

• Formal coding program completed; AHIMA/AAPC credentials preferred.
• 5+ years progressive professional medical coding/reimbursement experience.
• Knowledge of ICD-10-CM/ICD-10-PCS, CPT, HCPCS; medical terminology.
• Experience with multi-specialty outpatient clinic facility/pro-fee coding preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; Cerner/EPIC/3M tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create clear audit findings and recommendations.
• Provide written feedback to coding staff.
• Identify documentation gaps affecting coding accuracy.
• Educate staff on coding changes and reimbursements.
• Coordinate with managers to ensure policy standards.
