Signature Performance, Inc. is seeking an Outpatient Coding Auditor for a remote, nationwide role. You will perform quality reviews, coordinate with managers, and deliver clear audit findings to educate coders and leaders.

The candidate should have 5+ years in professional medical coding/reimbursement, AHIMA or AAPC credentials, and experience with ICD-10-CM/PCS, CPT-4, HCPCS. Familiarity with Cerner, EPIC, and 3M 360 Encompass is preferred, plus mentoring on documentation improvement.

Qualifications

• Completion of formal coding program; AHIMA/AAPC credentials preferred.
• 5+ years progressive experience in professional medical coding/reimbursement.
• Knowledge of ICD-10-CM/ICD-10-PCS, CPT-4, HCPCS and anatomy/physiology.
• Experience with multiple client systems and Microsoft Office.
• Experience with outpatient clinic coding for facility and professional services preferred.

Responsabilités

• Perform quality reviews and audits to ensure coding accuracy.
• Identify documentation issues impacting coding accuracy and communicate opportunities for improvement.
• Create clear audit findings and educate coders, managers, and directors.
• Provide continuing education on coding changes and reimbursement systems.
• Coordinate with department managers to ensure standards are met.
