Job summary

Signature Performance, Inc. is seeking an Outpatient Coding Auditor for a remote, nationwide role in the United States. You will conduct quality reviews, coordinate with managers, and ensure coding standards are met per organizational policy.

The ideal candidate has advanced ICD-CM, CPT-4/HCPCS knowledge and strong auditing skills. You will provide guidance, deliver education to coders, and identify documentation opportunities to improve coding accuracy.

Qualifications

• Completion of a formal coding program with preference given to AHIMA/AAPC credentials.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in professional medical coding/reimbursement.
• Credentialing with CPMA or ability to attain within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Create clear audit findings and recommendations in written reports.
• Deliver educational feedback to coding staff on audit findings.
• Identify documentation issues impacting coding accuracy and communicate opportunities for improvement.
