Job summary

Signature Performance, Inc. is seeking an Outpatient Coding Auditor to ensure coding accuracy and drive documentation improvements across our organization. This remote role involves quality reviews, coordinating with department managers, and delivering education to coders and staff.

You will work with ICD-10-CM/PCS, CPT-4, HCPCS, and reimbursement concepts while supporting multiple client systems and providing actionable audit reports and guidance.

Qualifications

• Completion of formal coding program with AHIMA/AAPC credentials preferred.
• 5+ years progressive professional medical coding/reimbursement experience.
• National auditing credential preferred or ability to attain within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Create clear audit findings and recommendations in reports for Coders, Auditors, Managers, and Directors.
• Deliver educational feedback to coding staff on audit results.
• Identify documentation issues impacting coding accuracy and communicate improvements.
• Provide guidance to staff in resolving coding issues and corrective trends.
• Offer continuing education on coding changes and reimbursement systems.
