Job summary

GlaxoSmithKline is seeking a Patient Access Manager to serve as the field-based SPOC for patients, caregivers, and healthcare staff. You will guide enrollment, provide oncology-specific benefit education, and address coverage and payment questions after a prescribing decision is made.

The role involves educating on cost-sharing, assisting with enrollment in GSK services, and coordinating transfers to pharmacy and back-office teams while maintaining HIPAA-compliant documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher required.
• Active RN license and BSN preferred.
• MBA/MPH/PharmD or relevant clinical/business degree preferred.
• Experience with patient navigation, access/reimbursement, or hub case management is desired.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the point of contact for patients, caregivers, and HCP office staff, providing approved information on oncology care and benefit discussions.
• Support patient enrolment in GSK services and guide through enrolment requirements and consent capture.
• Educate patients on coverage outcomes, cost-sharing, and financial assistance options.
• Facilitate transfers to Specialty Pharmacy, Medical Information, REMS vendors, and back-office Benefits Specialists as appropriate.
• Document interactions in Salesforce Health Cloud and ensure accurate records.
• Identify access and reimbursement barriers and escalate complex issues to the specialist access function and leadership.
• Interface with Payer Account Managers and Oncology Sales teams within program guidelines.
