Canon U.S.A., Inc. is seeking a New Business Development Advisor to drive direct and indirect sales and channel partnerships. The role owns end-to-end sales cycles with target accounts, recruits and enables partners, and gathers market insights to inform product development.

The position is full-time and virtual. Travel to customer sites and events is expected, with occasional evenings/weekends for trade shows. A valid driver's license is required.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or a relevant field or equivalent experience required, plus 7 years of related experience
• Approximately 50% or more travel required to customer sites, partner locations, and industry trade shows/conferences
• Strong grounding in consultative/solution sales, channel partner ecosystem development, and pipeline management; familiarity with CRM and sales pipeline management tools and practices
• Proficiency in using Salesforce.com is required
• Occasional evening or weekend work to support trade shows, partner events, and customer engagements; not on fixed on-call schedule
• Individual must possess a clean valid state driver's license to obtain the position

Aufgaben

• Identify & Prospect Target Accounts to validate market fit and generate early demand
• Own the direct selling process from initial discovery and solution positioning through negotiation and contract execution
• Recruit & Enable Channel Partners and identify, onboard, and train referral partners, resellers, or systems integrators
• Develop partner models including referral fees, revenue sharing, and co-marketing programs to align partner incentives
• Gather Customer and market insights to inform product development
• Represent Canon at inventory events, conferences, and partner events to build pipeline and market visibility
