Canon U.S.A., Inc. is seeking a New Business Development Advisor to drive direct and indirect sales, build channel partnerships, and execute go-to-market strategies for new solutions.

This full-time, virtual role manages end-to-end sales cycles with target accounts and enables partners to extend market reach. The position requires market discovery, partner enablement, and input into product roadmapping; travel to customer sites and events is expected.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or a relevant field or equivalent experience required, plus 7 years of related experience.
• Approximately 50% or more travel required to customer sites, partner locations, and industry trade shows/conferences.
• Proficiency in consultative/solution sales, channel partner ecosystem development, and pipeline management; familiarity with CRM and sales pipeline tools.
• Occasional evening or weekend work for trade shows and events.
• Valid state driver's license required for this position.

Aufgaben

• Identify and prospect target accounts to validate market fit and generate demand.
• Own the direct selling process from discovery through contract execution.
• Recruit and enable channel partners, resellers, and system integrators.
• Develop partner models including referral fees, revenue sharing, and co-marketing programs.
• Gather customer and market insights to inform product development and roadmap planning.
• Conduct customer discovery conversations and on-site visits; translate needs into actionable input for product teams.
• Represent Canon at industry events to build pipeline and market visibility.
• Monitor competitive activity and emerging channels relevant to the solutions portfolio.
• Source and manage external SME consultants to accelerate solution readiness for go-to-market.
