Canon USA & Affiliates is seeking a New Business Development Advisor in a fully remote, full-time role. The position focuses on driving direct and indirect sales, building channel partnerships, and executing go-to-market strategies as Canon incubates new solutions.

The advisor will own end-to-end sales cycles with target accounts, recruit and enable partners, and gather market insights to inform product development and roadmap planning.

Responsibilities

• Identify and prospect target accounts to validate market fit and create demand
• Own the direct selling process from discovery through negotiation and contract execution
• Recruit, enable channel partners, and onboard referral partners and resellers
• Develop partner models with referral fees, revenue sharing, and co-marketing
• Gather customer and market insights to inform product development
• Conduct customer discovery conversations and on-site visits to translate needs for roadmap
• Represent Canon at inventory and partner events to build pipeline
• Monitor competitive activity and emerging channels relevant to the portfolio
• Source external SME consultants and accelerate readiness for go-to-market
