Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a National Rental Customer Development Manager to oversee a national book of existing rental accounts. This 100% sales role focuses on retention, profitability, and growth, with significant travel and remote-based work options for those in the West/Central regions.

You’ll lead account plans, coordinate with RAMs, and drive revenue while representing Ryder’s culture of integrity and safety. Eligible for uncapped commissions and full benefits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of sales experience
• Demonstrated quota attainment in prior roles
• Experience in rental/sales roles preferred

Responsibilities

• Manages a book of ~100 top national rental accounts
• Grows wallet share and revenue within assigned accounts
• Develops sales plans and account-specific communications
• Leads customer meetings and builds relationships at all levels
• Attends events and trade shows within the territory
• Performs annual business reviews and analyzes profitability
• Partners with RAMs to develop career growth in the team
• Performs other duties as assigned
