Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. seeks a National Rental Customer Development Manager to retain and grow a book of national rental accounts, with a heavy travel requirement and potential remote work. You’ll drive wallet share, meet revenue targets, and collaborate with RAMs to enhance sales capability.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree and at least five years of sales experience, including rental-management or RAM/BDM background. West/Central region focus with travel 60–75%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business and/or Marketing or equivalent experience.
• Five (5) years or more of sales experience.
• Prior Rental Manager, RAM or BDM experience on the lease side preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manages a book of approximately 100 top national rental accounts.
• Grows wallet share and revenue within assigned national rental accounts.
• Develops sales plans and a communication plan for each assigned account.
• Schedules and leads customer meetings and builds relationships at all levels.
• Attends customer events and trade shows for applicable industries.
• Completes annual business reviews with assigned customers.
• Analyzes profitability and competitive risks within each account.
• Partners with RAMs to develop their skills and growth trajectory.
