Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a National Rental Customer Development Manager to retain and grow top national rental accounts across the West and Central regions. This is a 100% sales role with remote flexibility and significant travel.

You will manage a book of about 100 accounts, develop plans, build senior-level relationships, and drive revenue growth through strategic account management. Competitive base pay, uncapped commission, and comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business and/or Marketing or equivalent experience.
• Five (5) years or more of experience.
• Prior experience as Rental Manager, RAM, or BDM on lease side preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manages a book of approximately 100 top national rental accounts.
• Grows wallet share and revenue within assigned national rental accounts.
• Develops sales plans and a communication plan for each assigned account.
• Schedules and leads customer meetings and builds relationships at all levels.
• Attends customer events and trade shows for applicable industries.
• Completes annual business reviews with assigned customers.
• Analyzes profitability and understands competitive influences and risks.
• Partners with RAMs to develop their skill sets.
