Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a National Rental Customer Development Manager to retain and grow national rental accounts, focusing on West/Central regions. This is a 100% sales role with travel, strong relationship building, and a path to higher earnings.

You will lead strategic plans, drive revenue growth, and collaborate with RAMs to elevate the sales team, all while working remotely within preferred regions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business and/or Marketing or equivalent experience.
• Five+ years of sales experience with quota achievement.
• Experience in rental, RAM, or BDM roles is a plus.
• Strong ability to manage a national book of accounts and travel.

Responsibilities

• Manage a book of approximately 100 top national rental accounts.
• Grow wallet share and revenue within assigned accounts.
• Develop sales plans and conduct customer meetings and reviews.
• Build relationships at all levels and partner with RAMs to develop talent.
• Attend events and trade shows and monitor profitability and risks.
