SOLV Energy, Inc. seeks a Remote MV/HV Safety Manager to coordinate, implement, and monitor Corporate Safety Programs across project locations.

This role focuses on electrical safety in high voltage environments and requires developing safety plans and conducting trainings for crews on solar, storage, and substation projects nationwide. Responsibilities include identifying hazards, leading investigations, and ensuring OSHA compliance while collaborating with subcontractors and field personnel.

Formación

• 5 years’ experience in safety or safety related field.
• Thorough knowledge of OSHA regulations.
• Through knowledge of NFPA 70e.
• Willing to travel 75%.
• Ability to evaluate operations and maintenance work activities with respect to safety and loss control.
• Ability to recognize and analyze company trends with respect to company accidents.

Responsabilidades

• Able to perform all duties of a safety representative.
• Thorough understanding of basic electrical concepts.
• Knowledge of utility scale solar facilities and field circuitry.
• Electrical substation knowledge and function.
• Provide electrical safety training and education.
• Knowledge of and comfortable in medium and high voltage environments as well as able to train safe work practices.
• Develop job specific safety plans and procedures, and see to implementation.
• Inspect job sites to ensure Company Safety Program and OSHA compliance.
• Provide emergency response plans for projects.
• Arrange for basic first aid training for job site personnel.
• Lead investigation of near miss and reportable offenses.
• Coordinate project safety programs with subcontractors.
• Develop regional safety trainings, through onsite, local, and LMS based training.
• Create training and assist with trainers for various safety programs.
• Observe and flag personnel for additional or follow up training’s.
• Participate in Corrective Action Plan development.
• Regularly review and revise Electrical Safety Program documents, keeping current with industry code and best practices.
• Ability to Inspect and recertify regional live line tools.
