Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking a MV/HV Safety Manager to coordinate, implement, and monitor corporate safety programs across project locations. This role is fully remote with interviews for location details.

The ideal candidate will have strong electrical safety knowledge, OSHA compliance experience, and the ability to train teams. Travel up to 75% is required to support solar and high‑voltage projects nationwide.

Qualifications

• Have or work to obtain CSP, ASP, CHST, OHST, or CUSP safety certification.
• BS in Occupational Safety and Health or 7 years in safety solar safety experience.
• 5 years’ experience in safety or safety related field.
• Willing to travel 75%.
• Thorough knowledge of OSHA regulations.
• Familiarity with NFPA 70e.
• Ability to evaluate operations and maintenance work activities with respect to safety and loss control.
• Ability to recognize and analyze company trends with respect to company accidents.

Responsibilities

• Able to perform all duties of a safety representative.
• Thorough understanding of basic electrical concepts.
• Knowledge of utility scale solar facilities and field circuitry.
• Electrical substation knowledge and function.
• Provide electrical safety training and education.
• Identify and train isolating procedures and grounding concepts.
• Develop job specific safety plans and procedures, and ensure implementation.
• Inspect job sites for OSHA compliance and company safety program.
• Lead investigations of accidents and near misses.
• Coordinate project safety programs with subcontractors.
• Create regional safety trainings onsite, locally, and via LMS.
• Observe and flag personnel for additional training.
• Participate in Corrective Action Plan development.
• Review Electrical Safety Program documents to stay current with codes.
