Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. seeks an MV/HV Safety Manager to coordinate and monitor corporate safety programs across project locations. This fully remote role discusses location specifics during interview.

Responsibilities include training, incident investigation, safety plan development, and OSHA compliance across medium and high voltage environments, with extensive travel and cross-functional coordination with subcontractors.

Qualifications

• Have or work to obtain CSP, ASP, CHST, OHST or CUSP safety certification.
• BS in Occupational Safety and Health or 7 years in safety solar safety experience.
• 5 years’ experience in safety or safety related field.
• Willing to travel 75%.
• Thorough knowledge of OSHA regulations.
• Strong knowledge of NFPA 70e.
• Ability to evaluate operations and maintenance work activities with respect to safety and loss control.
• Ability to recognize and analyze company trends with respect to company accidents.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, implement, and monitor corporate safety programs at project locations.
• Provide electrical safety training and education for crews.
• Develop region-specific safety plans and procedures and ensure implementation.
• Inspect job sites for OSHA compliance and safety program adherence.
• Lead investigations of accidents and determine near misses/good catches.
• Coordinate safety programs with subcontractors and other stakeholders.
• Create and issue regular accident report summaries and safety updates.
• Develop and deliver on-site, local, and LMS-based safety training.
