SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking a MV/HV Safety Manager to coordinate, implement, and monitor Corporate Safety Programs at various project locations.

This fully remote role will involve leading electrical safety training and ensuring OSHA compliance across nationwide solar, storage, and high voltage projects. You will oversee incident investigations, develop safety plans, and train staff in safe work practices for medium and high voltage environments.

Qualifications

• Have or work to obtain CSP, ASP, CHST, OHST, or CUSP.
• BS in Occupational safety and health or equivalent safety experience.
• 5 years’ experience in safety or safety related field.
• Willing to travel 75%.
• Thorough knowledge of OSHA regulations.
• Thorough knowledge of NFPA 70e.
• Ability to evaluate operations and maintenance work activities with respect to safety and loss control.
• Ability to recognize and analyze company trends with respect to company accidents.

Responsabilités

• Able to perform all duties of a safety representative
• Thorough understanding of basic electrical concepts
• Knowledge of utility scale solar facilities and field circuitry
• Electrical substation knowledge and function
• Provide electrical safety training and education
• Knowledge of and comfortable in medium and high voltage environments; train safe work practices and company procedures
• Develop job specific safety plans and procedures, and implement
• Inspect job sites to ensure Company Safety Program and OSHA compliance
• Provide emergency response plans for projects
• Arrange for basic first aid training for job site personnel
• Lead investigations of bodily injury, property damage, near misses and reportable offenses
• Coordinate project safety programs with subcontractors
• Compile and issue regular accident report summaries
• Develop regional safety training through onsite, local, and LMS based training
• Create training materials and assist with trainers for safety programs
• Participate in Corrective Action Plan development
• Review Electrical Safety Program documents and keep current with industry codes
• Inspect and recertify regional live line tools
