Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking an MV/HV Safety Manager to coordinate, implement, and monitor Corporate Safety Programs across project locations. The role is fully remote, with interview-stage discussions on location expectations and travel.

The successful candidate will lead electrical safety training, OSHA compliance, and incident investigations, with extensive field knowledge of high voltage environments and solar facilities.

Qualifications

• Have or work to obtain safety certification such as CSP, ASP, CHST, OHST, or CUSP.
• BS in Occupational safety and health or 7 years in safety solar safety experience.
• 5 years’ experience in safety or safety related field.
• Willing to travel 75%.
• Thorough knowledge of OSHA regulations.
• Through knowledge of NFPA 70e.
• Ability to evaluate operations and maintenance work activities with respect to safety and loss control.
• Ability to recognize and analyze company trends with respect to company accidents.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, implement, and monitor Corporate Safety Programs at project locations.
• Provide electrical safety training and education in field environments.
• Lead investigations of incidents and near misses and reportable offenses.
• Develop regional safety trainings onsite or via LMS.
• Inspect job sites for OSHA compliance and safety plan alignment.
• Coordinate safety programs with subcontractors and third-party verifiers.
• Prepare accident report summaries and communicate safety updates to staff.
• Support Corrective Action Plan development and tracking.
