Job summary

The Landline Company is seeking a Fleet Manager to lead maintenance for a growing motorcoach fleet. You will ensure safety, compliance, and availability, coordinating with OEMs, partners, and the dispatch team.

Responsibilities include forecasting maintenance using OEM intervals, budgeting with Finance, and managing records in Fleetio and Samsara. This role supports remote collaboration across multiple locations in North America.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree or equivalent hands-on experience in transportation logistics/operations.
• Strong data and analytical skills with proficiency in Excel; SQL/Python or BI tools are a plus.
• Experience in fleet maintenance, budgeting, and vendor management.

Responsibilities

• Own the maintenance function with plan, vendors, and data to support scaling to 100 motorcoaches.
• Build and maintain a rolling maintenance forecast aligned to OEM intervals.
• Maintain the maintenance budget with Finance and provide variance reporting.
• Coordinate unscheduled and corrective maintenance without disrupting service.
• Keep accurate service records in Fleetio and Samsara; manage DVIR and SOC escalations.
• Manage parts procurement and validate pass-through costs from maintenance partners.
• Plan and conduct quarterly reviews with key maintenance vendors.
• Provide real-time fleet readiness updates to SOC and leadership.
