The Landline Company is actively seeking a Remote Fleet Manager to lead and optimize our growing motorcoach fleet. You will own maintenance planning, vendor coordination, and data-driven decision making to keep vehicles in peak condition while supporting expansion to a larger fleet.

Ideal candidates bring 5–10 years in fleet/transport operations, strong analytical skills, and experience with Fleetio and Samsara.

Formación

• 5-10 years of experience in transportation operations, logistics, aviation, or fleet operations.
• Degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Supply Chain, or related field.
• Strong data and analytical skills; Excel required; SQL or BI tools a plus.
• Familiarity with Fleetio and Samsara.
• Comfort with AI tools to move quickly across projects.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to work with frontline hourly staff.
• High-energy, self-directed; open to solving operational problems in a startup environment.
• Comfort of remote work across multiple locations/time zones.

Responsabilidades

• Own the maintenance function with plan, vendors, and data for a growing fleet.
• Build and maintain rolling maintenance forecasts aligned to OEM intervals.
• Maintain the maintenance budget with Finance and report variances.
• Coordinate unscheduled and corrective maintenance with minimal service disruption.
• Manage parts procurement and pass-through costs with partners.
• Flag recurring issues and vehicles nearing end of life using data.
• Represent Landline at external facilities and issue work orders.
• Schedule all planned/unplanned work and ensure timely positioning of buses.
• Review partner invoices and track technician usage against budget.
• Conduct quarterly maintenance vendor reviews and provide real-time fleet readiness views.
• Own Fleetio and Samsara access and IT interfaces.
