Job summary

Connection Services is seeking a Microsoft Solutions Specialist to work remotely, supporting Account Managers with Microsoft program, pricing, and licensing needs. You will train teams, provide guidance on Modern Workplace, Azure, and Managed Services, and stay current with Microsoft offerings.

The role emphasizes consultative sales, cost analysis, and collaboration with vendors to maximize customer value while maintaining licenses across EA, CSP/NCE, and MPSA.

Qualifications

• Advanced user skills for Microsoft Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint).
• Experience hosting remote meetings via Teams, Zoom, Webex, etc.
• Consultative experience with Microsoft Online Services including M365, Azure, Dynamics 365 and Power Platform.
• Knowledge of Microsoft lifecycle and renewals for EA, CSP, MPSA; ability to drive deals from conception to closure.
• Strong negotiation and upselling skills in a goal-driven environment.
• Analytical with data-driven decision making; adaptable to shifting priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; detail-oriented and organized.

Responsibilities

• Act as a consultative resource for Sales and customers on Microsoft solutions.
• Present options on calls with stakeholders to provide clarity and control.
• Deliver insights focusing on pain points for Microsoft modern solutions.
• Assess quotes and identify better program options to share with customers.
• Support EA agreements with guidance to ensure investments align with goals.
• Maintain Salesforce Pipeline and participate in team meetings.
