Job summary

Connection is seeking a Microsoft Solutions Specialist to support Account Managers and customers on Microsoft Modern Workplace, Azure, and related services. You will train teams, respond with solution options, and guide licensing discussions across value-based offerings.

You will stay current on programs and technologies, maintain vendor relationships, and participate in ongoing Microsoft and Connection training to grow expertise and deliver value-driven outcomes.

Qualifications

• Advanced user skills for Microsoft Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint).
• Proficient in hosting and attending remote meetings through Teams, Zoom, Webex, etc.
• Consultative experience with Microsoft Online Services including M365, Azure, Dynamics 365 and Power Platform.
• Knowledge of Microsoft's lifecycle and renewals process for Enterprise Agreements, CSP, MPSA and Cloud Subscriptions with the ability to manage a deal from conception to closure.
• Negotiation skills to secure best purchasing terms for customers and Connection.
• Strong business analysis skills with ability to translate customer needs into Microsoft solutions.
• Analytical with ability to draw conclusions from data and stay organized.

Responsibilities

• Acts as a dedicated consultative resource for Sales, leadership, and customers focused on Microsoft solutions.
• Presents options on customer calls to provide clarity and control for customers based on needs and budget.
• Delivers industry insights addressing pain points with Microsoft modern solutions.
• Assesses quote solutions and identifies better program and product options for customers and Account Managers.
• Supports Enterprise Agreements as a resource to ensure investments align with licensing guidelines.
• Manages contract lifecycle for EA to ensure subscription reconciliation and renewals.
• Produces cost analysis, quotes and pricing visibility for EA in partnership with Sales.
• Maintains Salesforce Pipeline and presents at Sales team meetings.
