Job summary

The American Red Cross is seeking a detail-oriented Microsoft 365 Administrator to join our IT team. This fully remote role can be based anywhere in the United States but requires East Coast hours and strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities include administering Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and related services, implementing automation with PowerShell, and ensuring security, monitoring, and reporting across the Microsoft 365 environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and related experience required.
• Minimum 4 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and related experience required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to resolve problems and prioritize tasks.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 security, monitoring, reporting, and user enablement is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer, maintain, and support Microsoft 365 services, including Outlook, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Microsoft Teams, and related technologies.
• Troubleshoot issues for end users, meeting SLAs and providing effective support.
• Document incidents, service requests, and problem records; comply with Change Management processes.
• Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support of critical incidents.
• Develop PowerShell scripts to automate administration and reporting across M365 services.
• Utilize Graph and APIs to automate processes and integrate services.
• Monitor service health, performance, security alerts, and usage trends.
