Job summary

American Red Cross is seeking a detail-oriented Microsoft 365 Administrator to join our team. This is a fully remote position, based anywhere in the United States, with East Coast hours.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and related experience required.
• Minimum 4 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and related experience required.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize and execute tasks efficiently.
• Ability to work on a team.

Responsibilities

• Administer, maintain, and support Microsoft 365 services, including Outlook, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve a wide range of technical issues for end users with SLAs.
• Manage incidents, service requests, and problem records using the Service Management platform.
• Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours support.
• Develop PowerShell scripts and automation to streamline Microsoft 365 administration.
• Utilize Microsoft Graph APIs to automate processes and improve efficiency.
• Monitor service health, performance, security alerts, and usage trends.
• Generate reports and dashboards to support decision-making.
• Analyze data to optimize performance and resource allocation.
• Implement automation and process improvements to reduce manual work.
• Manage user identities and access with Azure AD (Entra ID).
• Support security/compliance initiatives and enforce policies.
