Job summary

The American Red Cross is seeking a detail-oriented Microsoft 365 Administrator to join our IT team. This fully remote role requires East Coast hours and a solid background in Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and related services.

You will administer, monitor, and optimize cloud-based systems, develop PowerShell scripts, handle incident management, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, reliable Microsoft 365 experiences for our users.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and related experience required.
• Minimum 4 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication, teamwork and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer, maintain, and support Microsoft 365 services (Outlook, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams).
• Troubleshoot and resolve end-user issues, meeting established SLAs.
• Manage incidents, service requests, and problems via ITSM platforms (ServiceNow/Jira).
• Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support.
• Develop PowerShell scripts and automation to streamline administration and reporting.
• Utilize Graph API to automate processes and integrate services.
• Monitor service health, security alerts, and usage trends; document findings.
• Create, maintain, and update technical documentation and training materials.
• Collaborate with IT teams and vendors on projects and improvements.
