Job summary

American Red Cross is seeking a detail-oriented Microsoft 365 Administrator to join our IT team in a fully remote role, aligned to East Coast hours. You will support and optimize the Microsoft 365 environment, troubleshoot complex issues, and drive automation through PowerShell scripting.

You should have a strong background in cloud services, security, monitoring, and cross-functional collaboration, enabling effective end-user support and system administration across Exchange Online, SharePoint

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of related experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication; ability to prioritize and work in a team.
• ITIL framework knowledge and experience with ITSM platforms (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira Service Management).

Responsibilities

• Administer and support Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and Teams.
• Troubleshoot and resolve end-user issues while meeting SLAs.
• Document incidents, requests, and changes per Change Management processes.
• Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours support.
• Develop PowerShell scripts to automate admin tasks and reporting across M365 services.
• Monitor service health and security alerts across the Microsoft 365 environment.
• Create technical documentation and user guides for end users and IT staff.
