Job summary

The American Red Cross is seeking a detail-oriented Microsoft 365 Administrator to join our IT team. This fully remote role can be based anywhere in the United States and requires East Coast hours.

You will support, administer, and optimize Microsoft 365 services to ensure reliable, secure, and scalable collaboration for the organization. You will develop automation with PowerShell, utilize Graph APIs, and work with Azure AD/Entra ID to manage identities and access.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, CS, or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of related experience in IT or systems administration.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 administration and support.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer, maintain, and support Microsoft 365 services (Outlook, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams).
• Troubleshoot and resolve end-user issues while meeting SLAs.
• Document incidents, service requests, and changes in the Service Management platform.
• Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours incidents.
• Develop PowerShell scripts to automate Microsoft 365 tasks.
• Use Microsoft Graph APIs to automate processes and integrate services.
• Monitor service health, security alerts, and usage trends.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and training materials.
• Educate users on Microsoft 365 tools and promote adoption.
• Collaborate with IT teams, vendors, and stakeholders on projects.
